OK guys as you know I Just had my pypes LTS// with off road X installed.

Install went great and there were no codes. I already had a 93 octane dyno tune on their for my previous mods so I assumed he turned the rears off. Drove around since sunday no problem until now.

Today at lunch my car got towed. IT was towed with a flat bed.

After picking it up its throwing codes. The guy said it was because of the brake being on and itll go away.
WEll autozone diagnosed them as
PO420 and PO430 catalyst codes... whats the deal. Why would they come on now?

They did mess something up or what? is there anything I can do. I have an sct3

I realize the codes its throwing is the codes it throws when the o2s havent been turned off. It just took them off by undoing the battery. Could it have been just a coincidence with the towing? Does it take the computer awhile to recognize theres no cats and turns the light on?

you need a new tune. its not just the 02sensors being turned off. its how much more the engine is breathing now. you need a new tune for just about everything you do to these cars besides axle back mufflers.

I would say it's just a coincidence that these codes happened the same time your car was getting towed. And "yes" these codes can take awhile before they come on, sometimes 50 miles and sometimes more. You need to get your tune fixed and have the rear O2's turned off.
