well I though I would also post this here in the 5.0 tech as it is a good tech deal.

got my heads back from thumper lastweek but had to wait to get a digi cam from the girl to use and load them up. All I can say is they are nice, realy nice. his work is as all who have used thumper "great workmanship".

im working on a thumper combo myself and i cant wait! i really wish someone would come up with dyno numbers though! and track times would be awesome.

Last Saturday on a dyno-jet...262 RWHP @ 295RWTQ.....This is an SN95...last yr with a Tmoss ported lower I ran 13.7...swapped over to a 93 Cobra/Fox TB set-up...Haven't been to the 1320 this year with that set-up...
I wanted to get to mid 13s...They did that...under 1000.00 for H/C/I...not to shabby...My mods are comparable to yours...

The numbers usually come in the mid-high 200's RWHP's with about 300 tq. My major problems are traction, but once I get this solved I will dyno it to find out shift points and tune it a little better. I don't really care about peak numbers, more average numbers

Mike, ported his intake for him last weekend - thought he had E7s, and I was just gonna clean up the #1 & #5, but when he told me you had done 40s for him, we hit the short side of all the runners. Really lookin forward to his numbers.

yes big thanks Tmoss, it was fun to watch you port the lower and see how/what you do. This combo with the Thumper GT40's is going to be fun.

BTW it looks like I will have some dyno numbers by the end of Sep. as the local site is having a dyno day sometime in Sep.

Awaiting the tweecerR/T that is on backorder, and then some little things to take care of (should have most done by tues.), get my smog test/plates. I am gonna drive it around illegal for a few to break it in since I dont trust the bozo's at the dyno smog place, might hit up one of the roadside stations they set up to try and avoid the dyno test altogther.

So Thumper also charges $595 to port GT-4o's if you send them to him? I'm very interested to see your numbers, blk. I just bought a set of GT-40's yesterday and plan to P&P them but it depends on cost and if I want to try it myself or not.

Doing it yourself is always a GOOD learning experiance !! Just dont expect the numbers you can get from a good shop!! but the increase will always be good!! Be carefull and just stay basic...... or you could HURT performance!! Cool??

Just me................................
