Thumper heads + cam with good intake = 12's all day long!

I have Thumpers with a T-Moss intake and love em! I ran a 13.8 just with the T-Moss.
Im hoping to get to the track by the end of the year. Ive since added an X pipe so I would be real happy with mid 13's.

Hehe....

I have Thumper E7's, Trick Flow stage 1 and a Tmoss ported lower

Woke the car up, was running 14.4's @ 98.2 with a 2.28 60' before, I havent been tot he track yet with the new combo but it feels much stronger. Looking for low 13's on drag radials when i go next time.

Be sure to add a bigger TB, MAF and EGR plate.......that made a differnce up top for me.

Wasn't there a Mustang with Thumper heads on Pinks also? I've also heard of 12's with those TE7's

Bottom line, Mike at Thumper is a great guy to deal with, he does what he says and the work he does on the heads is fantastic. Check out his site

http://www.thumperoforangepark.com/

If you're on a budget and looking for an improvement this is a great option. I was concidering just going to Aluminum heads, but couldn't justify spending the money, there are used aluminum heads all over but I get nervouse buying used parts. Used cost about the same but machine work adds up fast. Thumper goes though them, new valve job and every thing is nice nice. No questions about what your getting...bolt them on and go.

Besides, I am really wanting to bust into thet 12's and then pop the hood and show off my "stock" engine. The looks on people's faces is going to be pricless.

yeah seeing cast iron heads and stock intake on a 12 second Mustang is pretty cool. You'll have people looking for the Nitrous solenoids

Yes I love having E7s, stock cam, and a Cobra intake after running a track pass. I have had people get angry at me for "lying" about my mods. E7s aren't bad at all, when done right. By the way I have not used Thumper for my heads, but have only heard good, and had intentions of having him work over mine, toss a custom cam in and go for 11s... that plan changed.

Yeah, it was "Trickie Rickie Smith" on Pinks in Florida who was running Thumper GT-40 heads. I believe he was down into the 11's with a 150 shot.

I've never really anything about these heads. I've seen people with them in their sig but didn't know too much about them. They seem very cool. Almost too good to be true if you ask me.

E7TE heads will make power... Lets just say I have seen an all motor 331 run 11.20s all day long on E7s! No power adder, carb, cam, and such!

And yes there are ported GT40's.. runs low 12's N/A but gotta remember he is a bracket car and THAT is all the faster he NEEDs to run in his class... cool??

Just me..................................................

Thumper, quick question for you - do the GT-40 heads have the smog tube holes drilled into the back?
