time for a change?

I am 19 attending college and have a 98 Gt. loads of fun but begginning to think if its worth it putting more money into a npi car with an auto. I'm Thinking about just starting to save some money getting a fox body around probally 92, or a 99+ 4.6l any input would be great. Do you think I could get into 13's N/a with this car with out a lot of money. thanks

What price range are you talking about when you say you don't want to put a lot of money into your car. You could do the PI swap. I've done it on my 98 and I think it was well worth it. If you get a 5.0 then IMO that engine has much more potential then what you have in your 98. Other then that, you could just do all the bolt-ons for you car right now but either way you go your gonna be spending quite a bit of money.

why dont you just keep the car through college. im assuming, like any college student, youre not making loads of money, so keep the reliable car and when you graduate and get your first good job, then you can start making payment on a nicer car, like a cobra. just my .02 cents since ive been there and done that
