Well Time for New Brakes for the stang i was thinking about some nice slotted rotors because u can see them behind my Steeda Wheels. But there alot of money just wondering if anyone knows any half way descent ones for a good price.....Also i need some brake pads that dont give out much brake dust. Any brands or styles? let me know thanks

For the rotors I am not too sure about but just remember that while you can see the drilling/slotting in them and it looks like a "race car" they are not going to help you that much unless you do some serious braking in your car and they cannot be turned later on down the road when you need more brakes. For the pads I recommend Bendix brand pads. They stop excellent and give off little dust for the quality of pad that they are. I know that you can pick them up at Advance/Discount Auto Parts and I am sure that there are a few other places that sell them as well but I am not sure where.

I ordered my Drilled Brembo rotors this week. Got a deal I couldn't resist ($80 for fronts, $60 for rears). I'm going with Cobra calipers too. I have to upgrade my wheels though. You can find slotted for a good price though.

Finally gonna ditch the stock wheels huh? I finally broke down and bought a set of Cobra R's for mine and have been thinking about the cobra brakes myself. Are those prices for the 13in rotors or stock ones?

I did this last year:

Mach 1 dual piston calipers (Front) w/ OEM pads
13" slotted rotors
SS braided lines
kept rear-calipers
upgraded to slotted rotors out back w/ new oem pads
dot 5 fluid

CAR is SOLID on the breaking now, at even 100 mph, it slows down
FAST!!! no shuddering, just smooth..

and it was a CHEAP mod !

Well that's for stock rotor size. I'm going to cancel that on Monday an re-order it in 13 inch. Im probably going with the new American Racing wheel since I can get the deal (18 X 9 front, 18 X 10 rear with 305 Drag Radial). I also have the adjustable struts and shocks thing going. This got out of hand real quick.

Do a search for Slotted Rotors, should find them for around $85 each. Sorry for stealing the thread.

Vibe - What do these new American Racing Wheels look like?

Nobody can have them but me. They are way expensive so don't even bother. Think the 18 X 10's are like $285 each. I'm not paying that though. I was going to get them on March 12th but my car puked it's guts out today (oil and coolant) for some reason. So the rims/tires are on hold until I can figure this crap out.
