I always like to see build threads on cars, well most cars anyway.
Need lots of pics. You never know what ideas can be had from another car build/rebuild.

I had stuck a poop-ton of money into this thing as I don't like doing things twice for crap parts. If you are wondering what a poop-ton is, its waaaay over the budget you set. Which I really didn't mind because I really like the car and plan on keeping it.

I sold one of my cars the other day, and the guy who bought it was looking at my " new " project , next to the Mustang in the garage... He asked me " how much money will it cost to finish that" .... I answered with " However much it takes" .....

If it was me I would call Modern Driveline and talk to them about the order and they might be able to look it up and see which clutch they sold you. From there they could even recommend a different one.

When you start getting up there in hp and torque the battle of grip, chatter, and clutch pedal effort starts.

The guaranteed way to get a lighter clutch pedal is to go hydraulic. Modern has those setups as well. I seen a few installs and they ones with good parts all can down to properly bleeding the system for them to work well. Won’t be cheap but done right it will work well and lighten up the clutch pedal.

I'll give them a call and see what they say about it.

Here's the old cable:

Don't know if it's a stock cable or not, it does not have the lining on the cable like the pic in Noobz pictures in post #8.
Cable feels really smooth and put one end in the vice and bent the cable like it was in the car(as best as I could replicate) and it feels very smooth and no frays in the cable itself. Re-installed it and will run it for now.

This will take a while. I have about 750 pictures of the build and I would have to pick out what pictures to use and adjust the size for uploading, then make the build thread. It'll happen, just not sure how long it will take.

Not a stock cable. No OEM cable was adjustable.

I know that a new clutch will definitely be lighter for you... unfortunately as it gets older it gets stiffer.
