ha , i know, it took me longer to clean up my garage then it did to disassemble the car for engine/trans removal..seriously
all i have left is to pop the trans cross member off then yank the engine/trans

im going to pull my trans out first. not sure if i can get it up high enough in my garage to do them together

ordered up the oil pump and new oil pump shaft this morning from CJ pony parts.

went with the ford racing pump and shaft combo

picking up the P heads next week

ever notice this? does ARP make the FRPP shaft?

I have used HUNDREDS of those and they never come like that....I wonder if it was swapped out

I know the FMS shafts had a longer relief once reason I liked them over the ARP, can you measure the reliefs for me. I measure the one I have on the shelf...

also im open to suggestions to paint the block... red? ford blue? black?

I like silver/aluminum. My 302 is black and it shows tons of dust and dirt, impossible to keep clean. Red always makes me think something other than a Ford color...

I installed a FRPP oil pump shaft summer 2010 and it did say ARP on it. Very light laser etching.

Nothing a little glassbead wont take care of, Ill have to measure those holes.... they say GT on them in the corner right?

Personally, BLACK on the block and heads...Ford Blue just look out of place especially in a red car IMO

i left my calipers at work the other day but i'll get the bolt hole measurement for you. if they are a bit loose i can have bushings made to tighten up the hole
