Curious if I got enough mods now to finally maybe see a gain out of changing my intake manifold? Thoughts or recommendations for my set up? Car is currently a full bolt on gt on a 75 wet shot. I'm really more so of looking as to what to do next other than build the bottom end at this time. Its getting a new transmission this fall so not worried about that either. Here's my current mod list just to get some ideas of what to do next.

Brian Tooley racing valve springs and valve seals
excedy stage 2 clutch

Unknown atm, the cams should be done this week. Last dyno pulls it made was around 350hp and 413 torque. Ill post numbers when complete. Everytime I track it I run into a small issue though so no timeslips worth a damn .

You got quite a list. Good stuff too. Doing it right. Depending on the cams you got going in, you may see some improvement from the an intake. I didn't see a need for it until my GT hit 400 rwhp with 12 psi of boost from the ProCharger. The dyno chart showed it running out of air and the power band flattening out after 5500 rpm. The intake just ran out of flow.

So if your going to rev it higher than stock redline you may see some benefits from bigger lungs. Those dang trickflows are sure expensive though. I imagine if you supercharge down the line, an intake would make a significant improvement.

My 2 cents. Nice ride.

Thanks, ill post pics and a vid soon. I was hesitant about doing cams and not the bottom end but the motor is still really healthy at 132k it seems. I figured id get a little more out of it on the stock bottom end and knock out a few other things like the transmission and change to a upr k member, after thats done ill save for the bottom end and up the nitrous shot to a 125 and save money to do the bottom end from there is the plan so far. But you are right, i kinda do need to wait to see the power band after the cams are done and dynoed. At this time Im not spraying past 6k nor before 3k.

Sounds like a solid plan. If you can get a dyno sheet on the car after the cams are installed, it will tell you if you need more intake manifold. Just see how the band reacts to the changes above 5k rpm. If it goes flat or falls off, its time for a new intake.

Finally!!!! Cams and tune is finished. Car made 301hp and 304 torque and on spray it made 370hp 405 torque!!! On stock injectors even ill get a video up tommorrow but the bananas part is it doesnt really sound like a cammed gt. Its very very minimal on the cam lope has me half ass tempted to go find stock bullitt wheels again and troll some people.
