I forgot to mention this.
When I got my timing done, about a week ago, I asked them (Midas) to change the timing to twelve degrees.
After they changed it, I took my car for a spin, but it would always shut down while I was backing out of their garage?
Would this happen to be a problem with the idle?
BTW... I think they changed the idle to factory spec's, I seem to racall my idle was at 1000 rpm's, right on the line.
BTW, what are you guys idling at?
and, any solutions to why my car can't be at 12 degrees?
MODS: 3:55 gears, Edelbrock Performer (upper and lower), 70mm TB, BBK pulley's.

It's not the timing. If they dropped the idle back down to 650-750rpms then most likey that is causing your problem. When my car was N/A I had the idle around 850. Now with the blower it is at 1000.

not sure what the big deal is idle is changed by adjusting a screw on most cars I have seen so you can probably do it yourself.....but if not I am sure it would be really cheap at any shop...in fact you can take it back to midas tell them your problem and they will probably do it for free seeing as how they will want to maintain your business.
