today i deside to adjust my timing but i was confusing how to do iy.
what the correct procedure for it.
what i did is put harmonic to tdc 0 degrres, then i put white marker in it to 14 ,warm the engine, remove spout, then timing ligth ,at this step i was confuse ,what should i do ,do i need to bring the 14 deg marker to pointer edge or theres diffrent method .

All the timing pointer on 5.0's *should* be the same.

Still, it would be good to 'calibrate' the pointer by setting #1 at TDC.
That way you will know it is right.

Good Luck,
jason

make you a deal, I don't have one either..... lol so if you grab one up for me i'll gladly pay you and the shipping to send it to me. I'm unsure but i'd guess the ho and non ho are the same. Yea you need to bring the number one piston to top dead center and when installed the pointer on the timing mark should line up with the 0 on the harmonic balancer.
