OK I searched didn't see anyone answer this question. I'm putting a TA on my car. I've been running NA a bunch lately so bumping the timing would be nice. I also spray a 100 shot so I can't/ don't want to spray with advanced timing. How easy can I retard the timing for spraying? I know it's just the allen head bolts but Steeda suggest using locktite on them. Anybody else doing this? Can I get by without the locktite?

i loctited them the first time, didn't have trouble with it without it, i think they say that to cover thier butts. retarding timing is just as easy as advancing, takes about 45 seconds after you have the timing wheel pointing upward. for a 100 shot, 8* is good.

Don't use any loctite on mine. However, I do check to make sure all 3 bolts are tight at least once a week.
