I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the Cloyes 9-1138 timing chain set.
I bought the first set from Summit. I installed the set and had 1/4" slack. I bought a second set (same brand and part #) I got the same 1/4" slack...I was hoping for just the first set having the issue.
Both brand new sets... is this normal for this brand? If not, any suggestions?
I dont know if it matters but the crank was grind 10 under, but it was reinstalled with the right bearings. Clearances all checked out.
