Timing chain slap?

Purchased a 98 cobra a few weeks ago and trying to work out some of the nasties. Here is a link to what I discovered last night. Cold start.... no rattle at idle but a little bit of throttle and I get a metal slapping sound. I have a thought of what this is but want to see what feedback I get. Thoughts?

It "sounds" like timing chain...could be valve train too. Ive replaced the timing chains, tensioners and gears on a 97 cobra motor. Ford Motorsport sells a complete kit. But you need to narrow down the location of the sound. Either a long screwdriver to your ear or a diagnostic stethiscope...
How many miles on it?
