I'm trying to gather all the tools and miscellaneous parts I'm gonna need for my heads/cam swap. Which one of these gear pullers will work best for the timing chain?

I found a balancer puller already, thanks!

You don't need a gear puller to take off the timing gears. It just slides off most of the time.

The stock one should come right off without a puller. If you're degreeing the cam, you might need a puller to remove the aftermarket timing chain. The 3-prong will probably work the best.

Just FYI, you can rent those at auto zone or advance.

i never needed any sort of puller when removing either the stock or the aftermarket chain. the only puller you need is the one that removes the balancer.

All right, thanks. I knew it wasn't neccesary, but I figured if it made it any easier I'd at least look into it. As long as any of these will work, then I'll keep them in mind in case I run into a bind. Thanks again.
