That should be fine. The general range for best performance is 10-14 degrees. Poor timing is not likely the reason the engine won't run.Currently have a freshly built SCAT 347 Stroker with GT40 3 bar heads, and an e303 cam. Car keeps wanting to stall and seems to be running super rich. What is a good spot to set the timing to? I’ve seen a couple of people
say 12 degrees BTDC but i’m not sure. Any help will be appreciated.
That’s really it, block is bored .030 over with a SCAT 347 kit, e303 cam, gt40 heads, bbk shorty headers, that’s it everything else is factory, intake and everything.Need to know the list of other non stock parts.
The engine runs, just kind of rough and stalls occasionally. Once you crank it once or twice after stalling, it stays running and runs pretty good for the most part.That should be fine. I checked for codes, I think i’ve figured it out though car seems to running pretty good around 12 degrees BTDCDid you check for codes or just the check engine light is not on.
