my 90 mustang hasnt run right since i got it...im starting to get it figured out but now i ran onto other problems. i checked the timing but the pointer looks weird, i dont know where to read the balancer at, the pointer has a triangle notch on top and toward the bottom it has a circle..where do i read the timing mark at, on the circle or up top of the triangle ?

next i set it on tdc and the rotor points to where the #1 is printed on cap but from what i read the 1 on the cap isnt where 1 reall is its more to the right. actually where the rotor points is #3 should i take the dist out and turn it to where the rotor points to 1? is it that easy??

and my last question is the tps. is it adjustable? i found that the one screw what half way out, when i tried to turn it i found it was crossthreaded and it broke..now i have to drill and tap hole. do i have to do any adjustment or when the screws are tight thats it??

Yeah the tps is, u just loosen it, adjust it to a little under 1 volt and snug her down...do a search n ull see tons of pages on how to

And adjust the timing to the flat side of the pointer

I would write more but im off to work
