I have a '96 GT, I took the 4.6 out and slid a 302 in. I was putting headers and an h-pipe on it today, in order to get the headers in i took the plug wires off ( can you guess the rest ) I left them in the looms and was almost certain i put them on correctly but when i went to start it the thing blew gas out of the carb something awful and caught on fire twice inside the carb. I had this car running like a champ yesterday with the stock manifolds but today is a different story. I also put a 750 double pump holley on this car yesterday before i started it and it caught on fire in the carb yesterday, I finally got it started but you could tell it was getting way to much gas, but damn it sounded good. HELP! any input would be greatly appreciated ( sorry about the book )
