At about 15* BTDC initial, the car accelerates really ruff with no power and then smooths out. Not sure if this is detonation, pinging, or what. As I advance the timing up to about 18* it drives a nicer, but makes an annoying whistle sound at idle. Anyone know what this whistle is? Im not sure if I should try and advance more but im thinking about giving it a try. The motor has 11:1 compression w/ 30lb injecors. Would 20* base be too much timing for this engine?
