Got my '06 V6 5sp torch red pony this year and starting to "tough her up". Starting with the body, just little things...louvers. My husband (sweet guy) bought me quarter window louvers from Street Scene for Christmas. They looked aweful !! Not a good fit at all. Looked cheap, rough edges, screws were not painted and upon cleaning the dust out of the screw holes with a Q-tip, the paint came off! Not prepped well at all.
Anyone got any tips or pro/cons for purchasing louvers? Has anyone had any problems with them? Are the louvers with the "screws" any better than the adheisive edging?

The Louvers I have are the option from Ford, and they're attached with Velcro so you can remove them and clean the window. So far I like them fine. I've been eye balling the flush mount kind, that appear to replace the quarter windows. It looks like you could see more out of them, while keeping the sun out. :D

Nope, I've done it twice. Both times I avoided the spray type because they might peel the vinyl stripes. The one close to my house uses the spinning "soft touch" type, that literally shakes my truck.

I don't intend to use a car wash often, but I figured if they were going to get ripped off I'd rather have it happen earlier than later. :D

IMO I really like the 2005-2009 Mustang Roush Quarter Window Louvers - Pair- Pre-Painted 254.95 Shipped :nice:

The nice thing about the Roush 1/4 Window Louvers is that you can remove them to clean the window whenever you want!

I ordered a Pre-Painted Roush Hood Scoop from them and the color was a perfect match, great price, free shipping and received it within like 3 or 4 days :)
