Tire and wheel sizing

I own a 88 Mustang LX Hatch. Its been converted to 5lug with new new style spindles etc. I want to put 18s on it. I was was thinking of doing the FR500 wheels 18x10 and 18x9. Whats the biggest tire I can fit front and rear? Will be dropped 1.5in..

you dont want to go to big in the front, i have 18x9 with 245/40 front tires. with your car lowered check your fender to tire clearance
