Tire pressure for daily driven 315 Nittos?

So what should I keep them at? I want them to last as long as possible. lol

Are they regular 555 extremes or drag radials? Regular ones keep them at 32 - 36 psi, drag radials at 34psi. These tire's are remarkably enduring, mine still look brand new with about 3k on them.

And man, these things are SO much smaller than my sumitomo 315's

I have my 315s at 28psi and 275 at 32psi

i keep my 275s in the low 20s, anymore and the contact patch isnt that good

Ive got them around 28 right now. Im gonna do the chalk test tomorrow.

I've been running mine at 18psi for the last week or so. :-D

Mostly it's about 25psi.

It's going to greatly depend on whether they are the 555 or 555r's (drag radial). I run 555's up front and they are quite happy with 30+psi. Now out back I have always run the 555r's…and unless I keep the pressure down to 20-25psi, the center of the tire will wear out MUCH faster than the sides.

On my Nitto drag radials I kept them at 30 - 34 psi if I drove them on the street, I sold them a week ago because I really didnt want / use them. On my nitto's I have on now I run them all at 32.

Are you sure your running nittos!?!

Seriously, even when I make 100+ dragstrip passes with 5-10 second burnouts each....I still manage 15k-20k miles before there done. Realistically 15k is when the become almost bald...but the chords don't start showin until closer to 20k.
