I have a 2002 Mustang GT with stock wheels (17"x8" Bullitts) It is lowered with Eibach Sportline Springs. I have the stock tires and I need to get some new ones, I would like to go up a size (from 245/45-17s to 275/40-17s) I am pretty sure that the tires will fit on the rim, but I am wondering if they will cause my front tires to rub on the fenderwells during cornering. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Will
P.S. I am new to these forums, so here is my car, its a 2002 Tropic Green Mustang, 5-speed with the optional Mach 1000 Sound System.
It has Dynomax Exhaust, Sportline Spings and a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter.
I ran a 13.7 @100.9 in the 1/4 on 275/55 15 Nitto Drag Radials with a 1.9 60'.
