I run 225's on the front, but just from reading around here, I wouldn't go wider then 245's on the front tires, and even then, you may have to adjust for a tiny bit of rub.

Stick with a 225. They track the road better than a 245 on the fox body. Plus they won't rub. On a 16" rim I'd look for a 225/50.

Do they rub cause of the 245s being to wide or the tire being a 50 and hitting up top....?????

Oh and 255s will fit without rubbing but a 255 is to wide of a tire for a stock pony rim.....wont wear right....dont go bigger then a 245....

I run 225-50-16's on the front and 245-50-16's on the rear. After many years of trying different combos this has been the best for me so far.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 245's in the rear. Even the 245 are a little big for the rim.

Yes it is lowered. I have coil overs on the front and Motorsport C's in the rear. It's pretty low in the front. Just enough to give a good stance.

I run 255-35-18's up front and then only time it ever rubs is during slow hard turns. Other then that it never rubs.

225/50/16's up front with no rub, lowered (I think with eibach lowering springs)
245/50/16 nitto DR's on the rear

Seems to be the best combo for most people.
