i was wondering if a 315 size tire will fit on a 9 inch wide rim

yeah i would go 10.5 you will be there for a week tring too get a 315 on a 9 inch rim..

I believe the smallest rim that would accept a 315 is a 10". I'm not sure but I would say the biggest would be maybe a 285 if not 275.

you can fit a 315 Nitto on a 9" rim. however most other brands require at least a 10" rim.

It'll look a little fat, but it's do able. Won't do much more for traction or handling though if that's the reason you're thinking about it.
