tire size

anyone know correct tire size for a 89 gt w 16 in ponys? i have 225/60/16 and they rub on the front?

225 55 16 i think was the factory size.
So you have the profile wrong.
Not is it only wrong, but probably looks bad too.

I liked to run 225 50 16's back in the day when i had 16 inch rims. But if the car is not lowered the wheel well may look a little vacant.
For the back i liked a 245 45 16.

yeah they do look like suv tires- they came with the rims so i was surpised when they didnt fit i have a set of 225/50 on different set of rims ill put on- i have steeda springs to put on to lower it- didnt want to run into problems with these rims
