On my GT the axle code is "LE" which is 3.27/Loc(posi-trac). Your code might be X5 or Z5 which is a 3.27/conventional(no posi). You could also lift the back tires off the ground and turn one tire. If the opposite tire is turning the same direction, you have a posi rearend. If the opposite tire turns in a different direction, you have a "open" rearend. Like I said before, check the inside drivers jam for the axle code. He may not have posi-trac. In that case he won't be able to spin both tires. He can also do what I suggeted before with the tires. This is a very simple test and it won't take a few minutes to figure out. Pearl02.
