Tire to Fender gap

I just lowered my stang with C-springs. The tire to fender gap (vertical) is anout 2" (nice) but the back is about 3.25"...

I want to cut the springs... opinions?

I wouldn't cut the springs(F's up the ride quality IMO) look at taking out the isolators.

the instructions that come with the springs recomends cutting them to get the right height.

How much louder (or harsher) will the ride be if I remove the 2 poly isolators?

I can't see where this will get me the 1" of additional drop I am looking for...

I have mine out up front and once in a while I get a little clunk if the suspension moves fast enough(big pothole).

Cut (1) full coil and you'll get an 1"

I cut 1/2 coil off my fronts, got a 1/2 drop....1 coil got me an 1" in the back...I never noticed no ill affects from it...I was running 17" Cobra's then...When I swapped to 18s, they had to be replaced as the ride went to ass...

What did you use to cut? I was planning to use a cut-off wheel. I figure that will not build up too much heat.

Thats what I used...Filled up a spray bottle with water and cut some/douched it to keep things somewhat cool, you get the picture...They're hardened so it takes a bit to wheel thru em...
