I've since learned nitto dr's suck on the street. Especially with the cold weather. Granted these are great tires when its summer time or your at the track. But trying to enjoy my car during winter with these tires being cold is like driving in the rain and gasing it. My car will not hold 1st or 2nd gear at all and I'm only putting 231 to the ground on a mustangdyno. I need the best hooking street tire for a daily driver thats not dr's. My car is a 8.30 car in the 1/8 mile so what it can do might help yall suggest it.

Thanks
Josh

if you spin for a bit while driving they will hook up and go

my nittos hook way better on the street than my et streets did.

khummo echstas have shown good grabbing abilities.

my friend cut 1.8s in them, and the FWD open diff guys I know cut 2.1s

Musta had different Kuhmo's than me, my Supra 712's suck at the track. SUCK. On the street they're ok.

I thought Nitto's were the best street drag tires out there?

That's what I read here in these forums too... BFG better at track compared to Nitto but Nitto better on the street compared to BFG.

I doubt think any performance tire will hook in cold weather. The rubber compound seems to get harder with cold weather and softer with warmer weather.
