Tires and Wheels question

I need some advice on wheels and tires. Right now I'm running on the stock wheels & tires but want to go to a bigger and better tire. Was thinking about Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. These seem to get the best reviews, but I am open to any suggestions. Also this is my daily driver.

1. What's the largest tire I can put on stock 17X8 rims?
2. What's the largest tire I can put on 17X9 rims?
3. Whats the largest tire I can put on 17X10 or 17X10.5 rims?
4. Who makes 17X10/10.5 rims that match the OEM 2001 Cobra rims?

4. Not that I've ever seen, but if you find them, let me know. I have a friend that would buy them.

GS-D3's are a really excellent tire. I have a set on the Cobra in 255/40 and 315/35. If you read the reveiws on tirerack.com you'll see that nearly everybody loves them.

What do you want to do with the car? For drag racing Nitto 555 DR are much better. For serious road course Nitto NTO1, or 5 other tires would be better.

for all around driving your suggestion is fine. Tires and susupension are dependant on use.

Check out the Firestone Wide Oval at Tire Rack. Think you will find very positive reviews.

check out mustang tuning. they have 10.5" rims for most cobras. i can't really see your rims very well but they should be able to help you out...
