Tires and Wheels

I installed the Eibach Pro Kit which lowered the car 1.5" but I am still not satisfied with the way it looks. I currently have 245/45/17's and like to install 245/45/18's all around.

Would this cause me any issues other then the speedo? Will the upgrade make that much of a difference in the wheel well?

If you want a difference in the wheel well, your not going to want to run 245's out back, haha. Go with something bigger from 285 to 315, then you'll be happy for sure! I have 285/35/18's now and they are good, but will be going bigger in the future.

I agree, go wider in the back. Im on Sportlines and I have no rubbing.

I have 275/35/18 all around on my car and it has been dropped with the pro-kit. No rubbing or bottoming out issues

if you get 275/35/18 you wont have to correct the speedo as they are same diameter as stock tire, they won't affect it.

only problem with big tires in the back is you can't rotate. With the amount of driving i do i need to rotate my tires.....

Some of the guys have 275's all the way around with just a hair of rubibing on the front when u crank the wheel all the way to each direction but nothing i would consider bad. I personally run 315/35/17's on the back and 275/40/17's on the front. With the sportlines i had a little bit of rubbing on the fender but that was easily taken care of with a dremel and touch up paint. as for the speedo, I recommend that u get a speedcal box anyways that way u can always change gears and have a way to accuratly adjust it very easily. hereare two pics of my stang with that setup.

Sweet looking car, gotta love the silver with 315's out back! I have 285's on the back of mine, and I run 265's up front with H&R Sport springs, no problems and completely fills in the fenders.

Nice stance. Do you have the isolators in? I'll be putting H&R sports and Mach shocks/struts to go with my 18" saleens. Were the CC plates really needed?
