My 91 GT is successfully chewing up my new Nitto 555's in the front and the back. I installed H&R Supersports spings from Maximum Motorsports last week and I am running 17X9 inch 03 Cobra rims with 245's up front and 275's in the back. The thing looks sweet but it rubs evey time I hit a bump in the road and now I'm afraid to drive it. I'm pissed because the guy at MM told me these wouldn't lower my car that much. Whatever! In the front my tire is about a half inch from the fender and in the rear I have about an inch of clearance. Took it for a test drive last night and it burned a nice groove in my right rear tire when I hit a large bump. Anyone know what I should do now? What springs do I actually need and how should I get rid of these H&R Supersports?

noit sure what exact equipment you have, but if your wheels have the correct offsets you shouldnt have much of a problem. but to late now, sounds like you just have to put the stock springs back or get the correct wheels. i ran 255/35x18's front and rear with 9" +24mm and had no rubbing befor eor after lowering, but every car is slightly different.
