Tires rubbing....

I just bought a 98 gt with some brand(cant remember) of lowering springs on it. The ride is very harsh and when I turn the wheel to a certain point the wheels/tires rub somewhere. I cant get my hand in the well to feel where its rubbing. But Im a newb with these cars and was wondering what springs would be a little higher and which shocks to go with them. Thanks

It could be the Bump Stop. Depending on how low the drop actually is. It's a rubber piece that's connected above the rear axle pumpkin that prevents the rear from hitting the chassis.

mine rubs the inner fenderwells in the front. might check that out, just get a flashlight and see if there is any spots where it looks like it been rubbed.

Mine rub up front also. I have 275 and its lowered. So you think I need to get thinner tires like 255?

And check the springs to make sure they are actually springs and not just the stock ones that somebody cut up.
