Xmas is fast approaching and the old lady is talking gifts.....I have two scenerios in mind. My back tires are close to being done (85% gone), so I was looking into some Nittos for xmas (to be put on in march) but I really want some nice rims that will also help kill the 4 by 4 look I have now (17 or 18's).....(still running stock rims and springs) I know I wont get both for xmas. I also want to make sure I get some grip at the track (nittos) but I heard any springs other than drag springs will hurt the 60 foot. what do you guys think.....
Get Springs and leave old tires for winter and spring and save up for rims and tire combo
Or
Get back Nittos and grab some springs instead of rims later in the winter.....

The rim thing comes into play because I dont want to get nittos now for my 16 inch rims and get no use out of them when I get some 17's in the summer (If that happens) which means I will have these rims on untill next winter most likely.....also I dont go to the track a whole lot so I dont want to mount them on my stockers and have to switch back and forth when I get rims. Thanks guys I know this is a long one and kind of cunfusing.

i'd say if you have the funds, go ahead and get rims, springs, and some grippy street tires. I'm not sure but i figured that any springs other than stock will help your launch.
