Winter is almost upon us here in the Seattle area, last night it was 31 degrees! anywho, I dont have a lot of money to spend, but I do need some more traction for when it rains. would it be pointless to get only rear tires? because I really cant afford too much, I was thinking some 295/35/18 BFG KDW2s. and keeping my nitto nt555 275s up front... what do you guys think?
ps.. I would be getting them up front eventually, just not sure how long

yeah, 18x10. i honestly just really love the look of the wide tire in the back, but you dont think it would be bad to just get the rears for now right?

wide tires are not good for winter driving, although if you're only going to be on water that shouldn't matter as much.

IF you guys are going to be doing any kind of snow driving then dont get the kdw's. It sounds like you guys are just talking about rain though in which case wider tires really wont make much of a difference. In snow though wider tires tend to plow through the snow instead of rolling over it which makes the car alot harder to handle.

Goodyear F1 GS D3's all around will help.
The Nitto's honestly are not good in cold weather but,
are excellent when warm or hot.
