I'm looking at converted my AODE over to a manual transmission. I'm looking at either the TKO 500 or the TKO 600. My current setup is in my sig below... and I want to have some room to grow, horsepower wise. Below are two combos:
combo 1: I currently have 3.73 gears so I would think the TKO 600 with a 2.87 1st and .64 5th would be ideal.
combo 2: If I swap out my 3.73s and go back to 3.27s then I would go with a TKO 500 with a 3.27 1st and .68 5th.
The reason I would go back to a 3.27 gear is.... I do a lot of highway driving with this car so a low 5th is needed, and I would want a useable 1st gear for the street.
What are everyone's thoughts on these two combos? One sound better than the other, for what I want?
How can I find out my RPM speed at 55 mph and 70 mph with these two different combos?
