I was driving my car home after getting the tko swap done. I haven't driven my car for a while before that so I can't remember but when I was driving I noticed that when I got 60mph in 5th, the engine was turning 2,000rpms. I have the stock rear end gears, btw. This tko is the older model, not the 600 or 500. Is that too high of rpms for that speed in that gear? I know they made a road racing tko that had a shorter 5th gear. I hope I don't have that trans but could that be it?? :bang: Thank you.

Ok, maybe it's just me being a little paranoid. I did have a lot of other stuff done to the car that could be playing games with my head as to why I thought of this. Thanks.

If anyone else here has a stock T5 with the stock rear gears, can you tell me what rpms you guys are at 60mph in 5th? Thanks.

Looks like you got a Tremec with the .82 5th gear (road race version).
Please Observe:
Stock 3.08 gears with the stock T5 (.68 5th) = 1644rpm @ 60mph
Stock 3.08 gears with RR Tremec (.82 5th) = 1983rpm @ 60mph

Tremec makes a street version with the same .68 5th gear ratio as stock. If you had this box, you would be turning the exact same rpm as before.
