Were you able to keep the mirror and lights in the sun visors? I was going to do that but my upholstery guy was going to charge a fortune for the work.

No, the mirrors are, for a lack of better words, part of the mirror. The upholstery guy removed the mirrors and just wrapped the old interior cardboard like material. They look similiar to LMR's -attached.
