So... I am wanting to through the AFM, Stage II Vortech SQ-Trim Kit (14 lb boost) on my car but I'm afraid the compression ratio is to high " 10:1" If it's not how much boost would be safe.
10:1 is way to much compression for more than a few lbs of boost, 5-6 is all i would throw at it. with compression that high, boost is going to raise your static compression ratio beyond that of which you can safely run pump gas
to high to run that much boost 5-6 would be safe bet like they said dont want to go and blow or melt anything unless your trying to like me so i have a reason to build a motor but i am running 12psi on 9:5:1 bone stock 5.0 block and heads and untuned for now soon to get tuned and it will not just blow up hahahah
