been looking at exhaust combos and im probably going with a magnaflow catback and have seen that many people have had good reviews about the UPR x pipe. My question is, is there any gain from going catless? or is it mainly for sound?
I bought a non-catted pipe.. It sucked! It was way too loud, had the check engine light issue, even with MIL Elims, and it put black soot up my back bumper. Took it off, put a catted pipe on and much better. Just pay the extra and get the catted mid pipe, well worth it.
I have a catted x-pipe and I love it. I have had no CEL problems and even though it's got cats, they are a hell of a lot less restrictive than the stock 6-cat h-pipe that my car came with.
