Ok so I'm one step closer to making my final decision, I have decided on the RPM heads with 1.9/1.6 valves, and the XE270hr comp cam with 112LSA. My understanding is this cam is recomended for use of 1.7RR if so will I have piston valve clearance issues? Let me know what the deal is, thanks.

i wouldnt waste money on flycutting local machine shop around here said it would be cheaper to get a dish or butterfly pair so i am 381 shipped from dss if you plan to change to a bigger cam and heads then fly cut em to be 100% sure you wont run into P/V clearance also leave you room to run better heads/cam later.

Very close to the TF stage-1 and one of the most reasonable for the street in terms of idle quality and drivability without paying the $700 for the custom cam ( Duties and exchange into canada)but everyone has an opinion on cams. Maybe you race yours daily, but I'm 33 and wise enough to know once you cross the imaginary line of hardcore performance you find yourself spending as much time under the hood and calling in your credit card #'s as you do driving the car. This set up will give me close to 300 at the wheels and make it fun to drive-if I wanted agressive I'd have the custom made and worked AFR's.
