Long story short, i already have all the stock gt stuff that at one point was put on my car and i have the change to change it back to lx for free should i? or should i sell the gt ground effects and go after market? It's a convertable with ram air hood and ponys, pics would help me with this

most aftermarket ground effects do not really translate well to a vert howver the car they ruined on pimp my ride had the same kit as my hatch and i have seen a few other that looked okay, but sadly there are few options out there as far a decent after market kits, xenon, cervanies(or however the hell you spell it),or a cobra kit is really all the options, here is my car but i would not put the saleen wing on a vert jmho

well my car as it sits "it was stripped when i got it" has a 93 gt front bumper, fenders, doors, side ground effects, saleen spoiler, and lx rear and it looks ok, but i like the saleen alot, maybe i'll lower it and it'll look better, i'm just tring to decide

They are but they're also your easiest option since it just adds onto the LX nose. If you have a GT nose that also looks badass on an LX body.

This is John Lindsey's GT, he races American Iron road racing. The pic kinda exagerates the size of the GT nose, it really isn't that overbearing, also he has stretched his fenders out a bunch to fit the tires under there so that also widens the nose a LOT and that adds to the look. A plain GT nose looks great on an LX.

BTW, that's the Griggs Racing "Old Blue" coupe behind him....that car is SIIIIIIICK lol. They runs full coilovers with a crazy front setup that doesn't even use the shock towers, and the car has no sway bars on either end, yet it still carves corners better than some of the best sports cars out there.

ROH Snypers. Also MAC'n89Blckstng good eye, i didn't even notice the rear Saleen bumper, but that's one of the best things about the Saleen kit is that it works so well with the car that you don't always notice it. I agree it looks a lot better without the side skirts, i don't like the Saleen sides.

are you serious? a GT front end on an lx makes it look like a snow plow. it doesnt flow with the rest of the car at all and looks completely out of place without the side skirts and matching rear bumper. That is however just my opinion, but i dont like it.

My Pacecar nose is lower than a GT nose and my car doesn't look like a snow plow? If you look at either the GT or my nose from a ground level, the nose is actually level with the bottom of the body. The bottom of the LX nose looks like the car has a huge overbite.

To me, aero's and 4 eyes are different creatures... yours pulls it off well... i dunno, maybe im biased because i have an aero lx and when i saw the one you posted of the lx with the gt bumper, to me it looked like either he didnt buy the rest of the ground effects, but mounted the bumper on anyways, or he wrecked the front and couldnt find another lx front bumper. i completely understand the function > form on that car, i guess i would have to see it on a street car to make a better judgement call.

That car is actually a GT with the rest removed and an LX rear end put on. Like i said, his has been widened and the fenders flaired so it sticks out farther than an unmodified one would.
