To remove the spoiler or no?

I have been thinking about removing my stock spoiler and filling in the holes. I am ordering a cervini hood soon and I think it would look sweet with a cowl hood and no spoiler.

There is a grey 96 GT running around without a spoiler and I think it looks awesome. Anyone else have a fetish for spoiler removing?

LOL. Sounds like my roommate's car. He's got a Opal Frost '96 248A(basically a 4.6 GTS). The spoilerless look does look good on hardtops, but I don't know how it'd look with a cowl hood. If you're going for a drag race look then I guess it'll look good.

I'm not a big fan of the spoilerless look, I believe someone on here put it the best on a previous thread: makes the car look like an older Grand Am from the back. It can look alright with the right stance, but I'm not sure about the cowl hood though. But to each their own, if you think it looks killer, than do it! You can always put it back on if you're not satisfied (before you fill the holes)

take it off for a while and see what you think before you go filling in the holes. It is funny though when you see a mustang without the spoiler and realize how much contour is in the back. You don't notice it with the spoiler on

That's a darn good idea......nothing like looking at the real thing.....only way to know if you will dig it....:nice:
