I came across a vid with a stang with sportsman streets and a soch H that sounded awesome. Right now I have Borla turbo's welded in and they drone worse than the flows I had on my 2001. The Spintech's have a funky design that I'm just not sure of. For those of you guys that have them how are they. I know I'm not going to get any real power gains from mufflers but I don't want to lose power. Any feed back on these mufflers would be apretiated.

I'm getting sick of the flows also and the drone. Decided to go with
SLP loudmouth exhaust. Amazing sound and build quality. I have heard
nothing but positive feedback on this setup. I think Spintec is side
exit only? If you have your car dropped I heard you may run into
clearance problems. Heard they sound nice though. GOOD LUCK!!

I have Spintech's on my car. In fact, I've had spintech's on both my mustangs. They're nice quality mufflers and they certainly offer a great sound but, because I have an offroad pipe and I live in california, I'm looking into getting different mufflers. They're as quiet as stock in low rpm's but damn, as soon as you open it up, they get real, real loud. Not as loud as a straight through muffler but, certainly loud enough to piss some people off.

How are they compared to regular 40 series flows. In the recordings and video's they sound bad ass at high r's. But what I really like is hearing that they are quiet when driving normal. Are they restrictive at all?
