I'm set to get my rebuild kit for my gears and my Pacetter LTs.

I have an off road H for them

with these two installed, and maybe if I get that ported throttle body that I've been looking at, would I FINALLY be able to take an LS1 in 1/8mile races?

the way that I've figured it up, I have 265 stock HP. The headers MUST add 20, and the pipe should add maybe another 5? And the gears just add torque, but lots of it, and the throttle body is RUMOURED and advertised to be good for a "dyno proven" 21 flywheel hp.

or no?

All these power numbers you are saying MUST add or should add are just that.....UP IN THE AIR. Every car is different. Every car will respond differetly to mods. Some cars might gain 20 horse from long tubes, while some may only gain 5horse. As far as the throttle body, thats a joke. You might get a coulpe horse if that. Just look at the dynoes from MM&FF. If you are adding just a throtte body on the stock plenum? Get a aftermarkert plenum as well.

And as far as ls1's :Track:

Its always a drivers race. At the track my 91 gt that ran 14.0 at 100 beat a budies ls1 all the time, becuase he couldnt drive for crap.....

Best of luck

Yeah the LS1 will meet me at the track...but I kinda invited him thinking I couild kick his A$$ already.

His LS1 is an auto...but somehow, he beats LS2 GTOs and all types of stuff in it...

not in the quarter mile though, but he beats them...pretty bad too

I was reading the Modification survey board and I noticed that no one did the LTs with o r h combo. How much HP would that give me if my car is well maintained with 50k miles

Do you win money if you beat him or a trophy? If not who cares. I think without a power adder or some major engine work you wont beat him, unless its your grandma.
