Tokico Springs??? They offer a kit just like the Bullitt Kit

I was looking at Tokico's website AND Ebay, both have Tokico's supension kit which includes springs, shocks, and struts. Everyone raves about Tokico shocks and struts, so if they're springs are any good, then I'm ordering them ASAP.

Does anyone know about Tokico's springs??? Spring rates?

I have been waiting forever for the Bullitt Kit to go off backorder. Now that I've got the money to get things done, I'm not waiting any longer.

I've got MM C/C plates, front control arm bushings, poly spring isolators, and new endlinks. There all sitting in a box at home. Don't want to begin the process until I've got springs, shocks, and struts.

Dugan Racing is nearby, but I saw that their kits spring rates are quite high: 750 in front and 350 in rear. Is this too much?

Any suggestions are welcome.

I've done a good deal of searching over the past couple months and I think I've narrowed down my options instead of getting the Bullitt setup:

1. H&R Sport Springs and Tokico Premium shocks/struts

2. Tokico Springs, Shock, and Struts

3. H&R Super Sport Springs and Tokico Premium shocks/struts


This is my daily driver and is used on lots of trips across Georgia. Fortunately, many of these trip involve nice twisties in the mountains, but some trips are just boring Interstate rides. My suspension is so worn right now that I don't even remember what it felt like stock. I'm still borrowing a new Mach 1 AND that experience alone is my motivation for improving my suspension.

I looked up prices for lots of stuff and I need to stick around $400-$550 for springs, shocks and struts. I may go for the Tokico kit, because that is only $430.00 which will leave me enough to get a cheap set of upper and lower rear control arms (x2c).

Are these good choices for a daily driver? Are specific rate springs better?

I've seen a couple threads where people mentioned they liked the Tokico springs, but can't find any specific information on spring rates or ride description.

I've ordered all my other stuff from Maximum Motorsports, so I'll probably talk to them about the option I mentioned above. I know their springs are priced well, but I've heard some have gotten Mach 1 shocks/struts for under $200 and some have gotten Tokico HP/Premium for right at $200. MM sells Tokico HP's for over $300, so I'll look elsewhere for those items.

Thanks. Any help on pricing would be awesome! I'm looking, but there are so many places and I only want to use reputable shops.

Just measured my ground clearance on stock suspension AND I only have 4 inches at the lowest point. The lowest point is the cats on my Bassani X-pipe.

Holy crap!!! This sucks big time. Just made another thread on this issue, so I can get specific info on how low of ground clearance is acceptable.
