Nothing special just thought I would share some pics and show a little progress.

Went from this:

To this so far:

I put on the rear end from the '90 with the 3.73 gears and UCA's and LCA's with lakewood shocks and Moroso drag springs.

Replaced the turbines with Weld 15x8 in the rear and 15x3.5 in the front.

Put on my Cowl hood from the '90 along with the fuel pressure regultor which is not hooked up yet, so it's kind of ricer but oh well I'm going to swap fuel rails with a adjustable fuel pressure reglator and the adapter along with the other fuel pump. I have the manual pedal assembly in but just haven't put in the TKO yet. Front end is way too heavy too, that will be after that.

Just to add to the threat heres a few pics. My buddy's car while he was helping my pollish the welds. Apperantly some chemicals got sprayed on them and nearly ruined the finish. He's got that down to an art. A die grinder with a buffing wheel and some Mother's pollish really made a difference. Like new!

This is my buddy's 97 Z28. LT1 six speed, pretty much a bolt on car with home ported heads, runs 11's on motor.

Something I saw on the way home from work. At least he knows:

Co-worker's 79 Camaro. Nothing special but nice. Rare to see one in any kind of decent shape.

Oh, and the reason my car's progress has been slow:

edited for respect to my girl. sorry

Yeah, didn't think about that. Edited. Sorry. It was a bad pic of her face anyways. I really like this one and she's a keeper.

Love a clean black GT and love the exhaust under the GT rear bumper. Also, that's a very nice 79 Camaro. Those are getting very rare to find in that nice of condition.

Only (minor) suggestion I'd make is to either get a Cobra rear bumper to better fit those tails, or go with regular GT tails tucked out of sight. LX tails peeking out from underneath a GT rear looks ... I dunno ... ill-fitting somehow. Otherwise, though, that car is straight secks.

I think those tails have to go. It's not a flowmaster kit back there, it's some exhaust shop that hacked off the original exhaust behind the cat and built it, no mandrel bending and small pipes. Those pipes have damaged the back bumper cover by partly melting it and cracked it bad because the former owner lived on a steep driveway. I'm going to wait and put a real exhaust on it soon, but funds are tight and the girlfriend is really cutting into the time table and budget. I haven't even put in the trans yet.
