Took the blower off and went to the track on 150shot NX!

Hey fellas, I wanted to let you know what happened tonight at the track. I had some problems with belt slinging off the car, so I took the blower and all the damn upgrades off. I went back to a stock 97 bottom end motor except for heads(ported NPI), comp cams, shorty headers, and underdrive pullies. I knew the NX kit was great and she REALLY felt powerful. The best time on 12lbs of boost on slicks with 40deg weather was a 12.77. Tonight it was 90deg with 100% humidity and I was running on drag radials. The track wasnt hooking good so I made 2 all motor passes and went 14.0 and 14.1. I wasnt too excited cause the car is in the 13.7 range. anyway, I warmed the bottle and had it just filled, I dropped the nittos to 12psi and did a good burnout. I turned a 1.8 60ft which was slower than the 1.7 on slicks, but ended up going 12.7 at 110. I WAS HAPPY AS **** to beat the blowers time, but she let go in second so I knew she had more in her. Next pass I heated them better and netted again a 1.8 60ft, but she didnt let go this time and FREAKING AMAZED ME with a 12.40 at 111! HOW AWSOME! NX ALL THE WAY!

Yeah kev, all the port work was done by me, I am pretty experianced at it from when I was doing ranger heads. It will go 11s with just slicks and cooler weather. CALL me sometimes, we needa go crusin!
