took the Bullitt to the track

There is no real argument here, it is all opinion. This car is better, than this one. It's wasn't the car, it was the driver. Let me tell you guys something, don't try to argue with stupid people, they will just bring you down to there level and then beat you with experience. :D I am sure I will catch a ***** load of slack for this one. :flag:

Well maybe if eveyone wouldn't operate on BS it would help. You can say all you want but seriously they are the same as a GT in the performance department.

intake, cat-back, and a different tune are worth nothing?

oh and isn't handling performance also? are you going to say a bullitt doesn't handle any better than a GT also?

there's a few people in this thread that have actually owned both a 99+ GT and Bullitt...and they're the only ones that will really ever know how much of a difference there is.

That is so true. I dont see why people with GT's get all upset. I mean seriously guys, take a standard GT add an intake plenum and TB, upgrade the springs, shocks, sway bars, brakes, and you pretty much have bullitt performance. Without that, they are not at the same performance level, they are close, but the Bullitt is better equiped stock. Thats why you pay more. GT's are bad ass cars as well, I had never planned on getting a Bullitt but after my 00GT was wrecked it was a good option. Overall, between the two cars, you can feel a difference driving them.

God I hate it when people correct there time. To me it's b.s.. My car ran .003 short of a 13.5 almost stock and I don't care what it corrects :notnice: to. Oh and humidity was over 85% that day.
stupid people correcting their times  what is that good for, knowing what improvements the cars actually making by taking the weather variable out of it pffffft! stupid. Dumb ass bracket racers use it too :nonono: to run within .01 of their dial in pfffft

Correcting times = :notnice:

I never said Bullitt's weren't nice cars and when I was speaking performance I meant acceleration.

I know that when my car was bone stock I could tell a difference vs a stock Bullitt. But only on the really high end.

so you are saying correcting times are stupid? Like I sarcastically put it, it lets you compare how your car runs before and after mods by taking the weather variable out of the equation. IF YOU CANT COMPREHEND THIS YOU ARE A DUMB ASS!!

It's funny how some of you Bullit guys act like your comparing an 03 cobra to a GT. I imagine they run pretty damn close times, Ford rated the GT at 260, the Bullit at 265, correct?
no one is coming off like that, plus what are fords ratings good for??? 390 for a cobra and 305 for a mach. A bullitt puts down a healthy 10rwhp more stock and has a better power curve. For the money it was an awesome deal. Now they are bringing stupid money iMO

No, I was just saying that what your car runs is what it runs. I live in Nebraska if I run a 13.9 then thats how fast my car is. It doesn't matter what it equals in other elevations. Even on a dyno, what are you really correcting? Like conditions will ever be 100% perfect anyway.

.... are you kidding me
running at 5000 FT is going to make an 03 Cobra run 14's

are you telling me that means 03 cobras are 14s cars? and GTs at 5000 feet are 16s cars? (esimated times)

well lets see, in the summer we have 3000' DA's most days...In january most days are 0-500' DA....

when will my car run faster?

that has to be one of the dumbest comments I've read in a while

All I am saying is that if your Cobra runs 14's at 5000 feet then that means LS1's run 14's at 5000 feet also. All things are equal. And what you can't measure gain off those numbers anyway?

So basically you make all things 100% then use that number when bench racing?

It's just really stupid when people post " I ran a 13.89 corrected thats 13.78 "
not to mention some people post corrected numbers and compare them to bare numbers to make them look better.
