Tool Review Time

One could argue you get alot more in the $209 kobalt set. 2.5 times more tools.
My father has it, but it just doesn't feel right.
The case and drawer setup sucks, pain to get the sockets in and out. Makes you want to just throw them back in the top of the case instead of putting them away properly.
Good for when i need to help my parents with something, but frustrating to work quickly with.
So yeah, the milwaukee case might just be what makes this set so valuable (it is also water resistant).
In and out quickly and easy. Makes you feel good about putting your tools away when you are done with them and since they are square you will not mix them up with all the loose ones you have (or don't have).

Seriously, it must have been the chisel only with no packing around it inside that big box. The way these shippers handle things, no wonder it shot outta there like a missile. Bought on Amazon.
Seems like the heavier the package the worse the handling is.... LIke they resent working.....
Watch out for UPS through Jacksonville FL......

This package was ordered via Amazon and shipped through ups. I chalk the loss up to poor packaging, hands down! I actually work at usps. I can say in general that things get tossed around here too.

The tool worked.
The last time I got an empty package was supposed to be a set of window cranks for my 65 Olds. The USPS eventually found the handles, the horseshoe clips and all but one of the clear discs to protect the door panels. I hope your chisel is easily found and Amazon packs the replacement better. I have received several Amazon packages with extra clear tape and have been told to carefully check the contents.

Any recommendations on a large rivet gun? Need one of these to install a door glass in my 83.... These were just becoming vogue in Auto Glass shops when I changed from a worker to a sales guy..., so I don't have any experience with them... Anyone have one or recommend one?? The only one at HF today was there top of the line $50 model..... Have to say it looked like a decent tool....

Rivnut or nutsert seems to be the same thing. I have a smaller one a guy in my Jeep group loaned me when I was installing my rock sliders. It didn't have the right size bit, though, so I wound up using the nut and bolt method. Slow, kind of difficult, but it worked.
I still have it, he said he didn't need it back and to loan it to someone else in the group if-needed. I hate having someone else's stuff and not giving it back.
