Real Mongo, you evil bastard, do all the right parts still shake? Somebody tried to take my Life a couple of times in the last few months, so I got delayed on all my projects. But I believe I have it under control now. As for the '55 BIrd, I did buy a wide ratio top loader for it, k had my local drive shaft shop swap the slip yoke, and add a few inches to the shaft,, set up a 4 speed to line up with the original hole in the floor and test fitted her. And I actually looked at the rear end and figured it is a Dana 44, ( got a lot of missinformation before), and I can put 3.08's in her. So that will take care of the Bird, and I liked it so much I bought another one for my '65 E-Pup 200cid 6er and will do that after I get the bird on the road. This is the setup for the Bird.
